Chairman & President: Dr. Aloysius K. Mok

Dr. Aloysius K. Mok is an internationally known expert in real-time systems with extensive experience in the design, evaluation and testing of complex real-time process control applications. Dr. Mok was a past chair of the Technical Committee on Real-Time Systems (TC-RTS) of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and received the TC-RTS’s highest award for technical and leadership achievements in 2002. Dr. Mok has provided expert advice to the U.S. government and industry on problems in embedded systems engineering, including several key R&D programs in aircraft and satellite avionics.  Dr. Mok obtained his B.S in electrical engineering, M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in computer science, all from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Since 1983, Dr. Mok has been on the faculty of the University of Texas at Austin, where he is currently Quincy Lee Centennial Professor in Computer Sciences.

Dr. Mok is the founder and President of AwiaTech Corporation.

Chief Executive Officer: Dr. Alex Feng

Dr. Alex Feng brings the experience of leading visionary technology companies and IT service businesses to AwiaTech.

Dr. Feng was previously General Manager of VanceInfo Seattle (NYSE:VIT). He was responsible for overseeing business development, project delivery, and operation. Under his leadership, this subsidiary grew from a two-person office to VanceInfo’s Delivery Center for North America, with 40 U.S.-based employees. It supported multiple key clients and about 1000 engineers worldwide. Prior to VanceInfo, Dr. Feng was a system performance analyst in the Microsoft Windows Fundamentals Group, driving end-to-end performance of key Windows components.

Dr. Feng holds a Ph.D. in Computer Sciences from the University of Texas at Austin.

Chief Technology Officer: Dr. Jeff Song

Dr. Jeff Song oversees the development of all AwiaTech product lines with his strong and broad technical expertise.

Dr. Song was previously a senior software engineer at M3 Technologies. He has conducted ground-breaking research on WirelessHART and received ISA Excellence in Documentation Award in 2007.

Dr. Song holds a Ph.D. in Computer Sciences from the University of Texas at Austin.
